Barbarian Throw Rend Traditional WW Build

Barbarian Throw + Rend + Traditional WW Build submitted by acrimony. Build : https://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#fhcRUP!fZY!aZbYZc Introduction: This build is a melee, range, and AoE/DoT variant. It is an advanced method to do four things: 1) Provide a fury utility in Weapon Throw that doesnt: i) Knockback; ii) Require tanking in elemental DoT environments -- i.e., Frenzy is great for stacked attacks, but requires stationary monsters to work effectively; iii) ... limit attack versatility -- you can ranged attack when Whirlwind cannot work on walkers/casters ... and its great because it: 2) ... extends the Massacre streak (looking at you XP farmers!) 3) ... broaden the Double Tornados damage utility to lessen downtime between packs; 4) ... provide AoE damage Build continued after the page break.. Why Weapon Throw?   In terms of fury generation, there is nothing better. Its great because once battle rage is up, theres no downtime on fury generation/building. Each cr...

Barbarian Level up!

Ive just leveled up a few minutes ago and my Barbarian character is now Level 60, Paragon Level 70! With the impending arrival of the expansion pack, Reaper of Souls, Im hoping that Ill make it to Paragon Level 100 by March 25, 2014 (the official release date) or at least quite close.

Barbarian Hammer of the Ancients HotA Guide

Diablo III Complete Barbarian Hammer of the Ancients (HotA) Guide submitted by silver. Okay, its obvious we need one of these. I dont have the patience to put everything Id want to in here in one go, so consider it a WIP. Q&A Q: What exactly is the HotA build? A: This is too complicated to answer without a post of its own. (See below) I also highly suggest watching some or all of the videos linked to, especially if youd rather skip reading the details. Q: Im a DTWW barb, can I use HotA? A: Chances are you can get by fine with your current build and gear. There are several variations of WW/HotA hybrid builds which work very effectively. The simplest way to work it in is to replace either war cry or OP:KS with it, and leave a fury generator. Simply use HotA against rare elites, goblins, and pesky kiting elites and leave your playstyle unchanged otherwise. If youre accustomed to running without a fury generator, you can use hybrids using OP:KS or Rend which are covered in the follo...

Barbarian Level 70 Paragon Level 191

Ive been thoroughly enjoying Reaper of Souls, so much so that Ive skipped posting here for some time (sorry, guys) and just concentrated on leveling-up my barbarian character. As you can see from the screenshot below, Ive been spending quite some time transmogrifying and buying up dyes making sure everythings coordinated and shit. Right now my barbarian is the most powerful (i.e., the one able to dish out the most damage) among my characters but I have a feeling that my crusader is going to overtake him really fast (at least until he levels up to 70 - just 2 more levels to go). Also, hes the sugar daddy of the bunch, the one tasked to make the most money for spending by the group. Ive given him some rest in the last couple of weeks however, preferring to adventure with my crusader and exploring his different abilities. Ill be getting him back on track soon enough though as the barbarian is my favorite class. Im currently playing at Torment II but I hope to progress to Torment III as so...

Barbarian Demonic Essence Farming Skycrown Battlements MP10

Barbarian Demonic Essence Farming (Skycrown Battlements, MP10) submitted by imthereal1377 When focusing on short runs, people usually run Vault of the Ancients in Act 2 or Warriors Rest in Act 1. I did 20 runs of Skycrown Battlements to see if it can be a viable alternative. Start in town, use waypoint to Stonefort, enter Skycrown and kill all the elites you can find. The area layout is always the same so you cant really mess up the run. I got 109 elites (elite packs + goblins) in 82 minutes which averages to 31 Demonic Essences per hour Recorded Run: Detailed Run Info: Overall the run seemed a bit more consistent than VotA (at least for me) and a bit less boring than Warriors Rest. Would I do this run regularly? No. For an extra 5-6 Demonic Essences per hour I miss out on a lot of loot.
