Batman Arkham City PC players reporting DX11 problems

Warner promises patch, offers advice

More news, movies, screens & features at our Batman: Arkham City game hub. Batman: Arkham Citys not out on PC in the UK until tomorrow, but already US players are reporting problems with the mouse and keyboard version.

Specifically, its the Rocksteady titles DirectX 11 support thats causing problems, with multiple early bird players reporting a huge increase in performance when downgrading to an older version of DirectX.
Publisher Warner Bros has promised a patch on Arkham Citys official forums, and offered advice on what to do.

Instructions for changing DX 11 to DX 9
The Launcher can be accessed on Games for Windows LIVE and Steam to change DX 11 to DX 9 in the Settings menu.
Change both DirectX 11 Features and DirectX 11 Tessellation to OFF.

Games for Windows LIVE
Start > All Programs > Games > Right click on Batman: Arkham City and select Launcher > Settings
1. Open the Start Menu
2. Select All Programs and then the Games folder
3. Right click on Batman: Arkham City and select Launcher
4. Choose Settings then click on the arrow next to DX options to change

Steam:
Launch Steam Client > Library > Right click on Batman: Arkham City > Configure PC Options
1. Open Steam
2. Select Library
3. Right click on Batman: Arkham City and select Configure PC Options
4. Choose Settings then click on the arrow next to DX options to change

Barbarian Level 70 Paragon Level 191

Ive been thoroughly enjoying Reaper of Souls, so much so that Ive skipped posting here for some time (sorry, guys) and just concentrated on leveling-up my barbarian character. As you can see from the screenshot below, Ive been spending quite some time transmogrifying and buying up dyes making sure everythings coordinated and shit. Right now my barbarian is the most powerful (i.e., the one able to dish out the most damage) among my characters but I have a feeling that my crusader is going to overtake him really fast (at least until he levels up to 70 - just 2 more levels to go). Also, hes the sugar daddy of the bunch, the one tasked to make the most money for spending by the group. Ive given him some rest in the last couple of weeks however, preferring to adventure with my crusader and exploring his different abilities. Ill be getting him back on track soon enough though as the barbarian is my favorite class. Im currently playing at Torment II but I hope to progress to Torment III as so...
